The retaining wall, which was built in 1925, was designed to hold back runoff. Izodor Morva had a cave built in the wall to commemorate the assassination attempt on his family, which was consecrated in 1926 and has been a shrine ever since. It was completely restored in 2006 to commemorate its 80th anniversary.
