One of Hungary’s most famous hiking trails, the legendary Spartacus Trail of the Visegrád Hills, winds from Pilisszentlászló to Visegrád, offering a dazzling panorama of the Danube in places. Since its official opening in 2015, the spectacularly linear former hunting trail has become one of the most popular hikes in Hungary, and its hiking is an unforgettable experience. Starting from Pilisszentlászló, we go along the well-maintained, narrow trail, then above Visegrád, we make a small detour to the Bánya-tetõ lookout, known to few, and then descend to the ancient settlement, passing another hidden lookout point. The hike is 12.9 km long and takes about 4 hours.
