The three Danish-style earth-bed ponds were built in 1982 and have been used for fish farming for many years. The ponds were then disused from the 1990s until 2010. After the renovation work was completed, 15,000 trout were stocked into these three lakes in the Apátkúti Valley and fish farming was resumed. The lakes offer fishing and live fish sales, and anglers can also have their catches landed in the restaurant if they don’t want to take them home.
