There was a stone church in Kõhídgyarmat as early as the Árpád era. The Roman Catholic church you see today was built in the mid-18th century. Old ruins were also used for its construction, which was supported by the Esztergom Archbishopric. The building is in Baroque style, with a Tardos marble font, a confessional with beautiful woodcarvings and an imposing altarpiece, as well as valuable ornamental cassettes depicting battle scenes.
