The exact date of construction of the church dedicated to the Assumption is lost to history. Its Baroque features suggest that it was built in the 1700s. The church is decorated with several beautiful statues, main and side altars. Of particular interest is the fact that the paintings of the sacrament, dating from 1955, depict local residents.
