The church, consecrated in 1799 in honour of the Assumption, stands majestically in the centre of the village. Its interior is also extremely beautiful and ornate. The Baroque building was damaged in the Second World War and its 60m tower collapsed, but was rebuilt with a smaller tower. The church interior features frescoes, sculptures and beautifully carved side altars.
