ROUTES AND ROAD SIGNS TO FOLLOW

The trail starts right uphill after the bridge behind the church. Follow the signs back from the southern part of the village.

VARIATIONS OF THE TOUR

• From the trail, after the Calvary, follow the yellow lane (S) to the top of the hill to the Julianus Lookout (2 km), from where you can turn back following the yellow lane to the yellow circle (SO) and turn left to the lookout point above the Bodzás Valley to rejoin the trail.
• From the lookout point above the Bodzás Valley, you can also descend to the Ernő spring in the valley on a serpentine path following the yellow circle (SO) sign. From here, the SO sign leads to the yellow cross (S+), where you turn right back to the inhabited area of Zebegény (+1-1.5 km).
