Barna, an architect by training, built a small barn on their farm as a hobby in the spring of 2012. The initial cage farming was replaced by alternative farming in 2018 with the help of a “Young Farmer” grant, and today 1500 hens provide eggs for the customers of the Kiskosár. Their feed is sourced from reliable farmers, and Barna mixes the feed mix to suit their preferences. He farms with his family in the Csemete Horse Park in Nyergesújfalu, and always brings fresh eggs to the Kiskosár for the customers, picked on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
