In 1993 he founded his family beekeeping business in Mužla, which is called HAPPY BEE. He currently has 80 hives of bees. The area has excellent beekeeping facilities and produces high quality acacia, hawthorn, sunflower, honeysuckle and rapeseed honey, as well as flavoured honeys and bee products (propolis, beeswax, cosmetics, wax products). The apiary also has a bee sauna for apitherapy.
As a self-employed beekeeper, he has completed a course in beekeeping for beekeepers and regularly attends professional training courses organised by the Slovak Beekeepers’ Association on bee diseases, mother rearing and the use of bee products. He considers it natural to study the literature and follow beekeeping trends on a regular basis. Regular participant in national and international beekeeping exhibitions. He holds a veterinary beekeeping assistant certificate, which can only be obtained by passing a professional examination every 2 years. Since 1993 he has been a member of the Parcany branch of the Slovak Beekeepers’ Association and since 2010 he has been its president.
