ROUTES AND ROAD SIGNS TO FOLLOW

Follow the tourist signs along the Pálos Road – Hermit’s Way to the Pilis saddle, and from there the Pilgrims Way bypass to the Szoplák side to Simon’s Death. Here we rejoin the Hermits Way and return to Klastrompuszta.

VARIATIONS OF THE TOUR

• The caves can be reached by short, steep detours from the “Caves of the Caves of the Caves of the Cliffs of the Chévi” stop on the blue or red cave markers (omega).
• To get to the Chimney Rock, after the ascent after Klastrompuszta, take the green cross sign to the right (500 m).
• After the Pilis climb, you can make a short detour to the rocky lookout point of the Fekete-kő, from where you can see the valley of Pilisszentlélek. Watch out and follow the green triangle signs (+1 km).
• You can also follow the other smaller hiking trails of the Pálos út – Remeték út from Pilisszentlélek or Pilisszentkereszt, or the whole trail, which includes all three. The latter is a more difficult hike (27 km), but the Paulines Way signposts will guide you along it. The recommended starting point is Pilisszentkereszt, but you can also start from Klastrompuszta.
