The Búbánatvölgy is one of the holiday areas of Esztergom, which is mainly known for its four lakes. In a wild and scenic setting, asphalt roads run alongside the waters. The lakes were artificially created, one after the other for almost twenty years, starting in 1962. On entering the sparsely populated, wooded area, the first fish pond in a series appears soon after.
