A surprisingly sharp, jagged rock face stands guard over the landscape on the side of the hill adjacent to the Mogyorósbánya mine. From the top of the rock you can enjoy one of the most spectacular panoramas of the Gerecse, with the tiny hillsides of the mountain range bordered by the Börzsöny and Pilis highlands. The 4-6 metre high rock towers stand like bastions on the edge of Kõ-hegy, which is just below 300 metres, and from their flat tops you can enjoy a magnificent view of the pleasant landscape of Gerecse. In the distance you can see the Danube bend with the Börzsöny forest massif towering above it, and directly on the bank the rocky cliffs of the Helembai hills provide a backdrop for the dome of the Esztergom Basilica. The Pilis and the Buda Hills appear, while the Hegyes rock dwarfs the Nagy-Gete. Below us, the buildings of the Tokod cellars dot the breezily built-up hillside, while the Danube shimmers to the left. The interesting thing about this place is that, unlike the other gerecses clasts, it is not the usual sea-water limestone, but a freshwater variety deposited in a spring.
