Between Svodín and Strekov, believers have been pilgrimaging to the shrine of Cigléd for centuries. This tradition is followed and illustrated by the nature trail. The trail starts and ends at the Roman Catholic churches of the two settlements. The trail is 9.3 km long. The route is also marked by a tourist sign for the Way of Mary pilgrimage route and direction signs to help hikers and pilgrims. Along the way, information signs will tell you about the valuable flora and fauna of the area, the Cigléd pilgrimage site, the folk traditions and cultural history of the two settlements and the Central European Mary’s Way.
