The Ipoly Forest Ltd. has rebuilt Hungary’s wild mountain forest railway in Börzsöny. With the construction of the track between Márianosztra and Nagyirtáspuszta, which connected the two former sections, the railway now runs on a complete line with a coordinated timetable on 3 sections from Szob to Nagybörzsöny. To travel the full length of the 21 km line, it is worth bearing in mind that you currently have to change trains twice and buy 3 tickets.
