Bajót

Near Bajót is the 375-metre high mountain, the Old Stone (Öreg-kõ). Its rock faces are a favourite spot for rock climbers. The area around its peak is a nature reserve and part of the Danube-Ipoly National Park. The spectacular Öreg-kõ (Old Stone) Cave, also known as the Jankovich Cave, is located on the steep eastern rocky side of the Öreg-kõ (Old Stone), where finds suggesting the presence of prehistoric man have been found. There are also other caves and several cairns in the area. The Öreg-kõ (Old Stone) can be reached by passing the Millennium Monument and following the blue cave sign.
