2 km from the centre of Dömös, in the Visegrád Hills, is the Chapel of the Holy Tree: according to tradition, in 1885 two little girls from Dömös saw the image of the Virgin Mary with the baby Jesus on a beech tree. The chapel is a memorial to the miraculous tree.
