The first mention of the existence of the Szentkút in Pilisszentkereszt appeared at the beginning of the 20th century, in Borovszky’s county monograph, which mentions the place among the natural sights of the settlement. The fame of the spring’s waters is legendary, and many people owe their healing to the intercession of Mary and the healing powers of the waters. You can reach the Szentkatu in Pilisszentkereszt from two directions. One way climbs up along the Mogyorós ditch, the other starts from the Feszületek in the centre of the village. It is an easy walk to the double spring.
