The stagecoach and horse-changing station of the main postal route on the Buda-Vienna route, established after the Turkish occupation, was built in the 1700s in Dorog, next to the Baroque church on the main road. It also had an inn. Even after the post office moved, a central building remained in the village, in the present Heroes’ Square, which was demolished in 1987. A plaque commemorates it.
