Nagysáp

Nagysáp lies in the Bajna valley, hugging the loess hills of the eastern side of Gerecse. Remains of bygone ages prove that this area has been inhabited since time immemorial. Today the village is a lively community. Beautiful carved Szekler gates, well-maintained monuments and two beautiful churches can be seen in the village. Many hikers set out from here to conquer the forests of Gerecse. The tired hiker can also find a pleasant restaurant and a pension in the village, where motorcyclists can rest after the popular serpentine trail through Gerecse.
