The description of his native village by the Highland writer Vilmos Csontos still holds true today: gentle hillsides, winding streets, scattered houses, vineyards on the hilltop. Before the outbreak of the world wars, agriculture and viticulture provided the village with a certain prosperity. At one time, tens of thousands of litres of wine were produced in the vast cellars of the Eszterházy estate. Unfortunately, the cellar is not open to the public today. The special grape variety of the area is Peszek Leányka, which is still cultivated by some people. The village has set up a country house in an old house with traces of folk architecture, where you can see the remaining treasures by appointment.
