ROUTES AND ROAD SIGNS TO FOLLOW

From the centre of Salka follow the street leading to the Ipeľ bridge. When you reach Letkés, follow the green lane sign to Pribék clearing, where you take the blue lane. Near the top of Nagy-Galla, take the Blue Triangle to the top of the hill.

On the way back from the summit, follow the Blue Cross for a short stretch and then the Green Cross from Galla-tistás back to Letkés, from where you can start the hike backwards to Salka.

The tour crosses the border between two countries (Slovakia and Hungary), but you can also start from Letkés.

VARIATIONS OF THE TOUR

• From the top of Nagy-Galla you can also descend by the Green Triangle sign, which joins the Green Cross.
• From the Pribék clearing you can descend to Márianosztra (5 km)
• From the Galla lane, follow the Blue Cross to Ipolydamasd (5 km)
