My grandmother taught me the art of winemaking. We have been making wine since about the 1990s, and since 2002 we have been participating in local competitions. Our cellars and vineyards are located in the beautiful landscape of Garamkövesd, at the confluence of the Garam and Danube rivers. Part of the vineyards are located on the slopes of the volcanic Burda mountain range. The area has favourable natural conditions for growing grapes. We farm only half a hectare as a smallholder. What we have to offer: juicy, characterful wines with a unique flavour. I can cater for 30 people with a home-style wine tasting: greasy bread bites served with onions, home-made bacon, cheese, cheese rolls, scones. We have our own open-air oven for making oven pies, and a fireplace for cooking goulash. For dessert I offer homemade strudel.
