Bike Paradise Ipolydamásd (HU), Štúrovo (SK), and the Ister-Granum EGTC (SK-HU), have been successfully granted in the framework of the Interreg V-A Slovakia-Hungary Cooperation Programme (www.skhu.eu). Thanks to this cooperation, the cycle path between Štúrovo- Chľaba and Ipolydamásd – Letkés will be built and marked out. It will be possible to cross the Hron dam on a paved road as far as the motorway bridge in Kamenica nad Hronom, cross the bridge to the left bank of the river and follow the dam to the foot of the railway bridge of Kamenica nad Hronom, from where the existing concrete road will lead to the motorway to Chľaba. Continue along the low-traffic road towards Chľaba, and after another stretch of road, cross the newly renovated Ipeľ bridge to Ipolydamásd. Going north along the river bank, you will reach Letkés on a protected road.
