The ethnographic treasures on display in the Village Hall were collected by local amateur ethnographers in the village, and the collection was exhibited in an old folk house. Three rooms in the building were filled with exhibits. On entering, an old kitchen is used to show the traditions of peasant architecture. In one of the rooms you can see relics of old crafts, in the other you can see photographs, old valuable documents and handicrafts. In the courtyard you can see parts of a water mill and an exhibition on the quarrying of the Börzsöny. The inhabitants of Márianosztra were once also involved in viticulture, as the press in the courtyard shows.
