One of Slovakia’s most important aquatic habitats, it is the country’s largest wetland. The reed-covered marsh, the stream valley in the area of Köbölkút, Kisújfalu, Kürt, Szõgyén, Kõhídgyarmat is home to many protected bird species and is a nesting place. The diversity and richness of the species attract ornithologists from other parts of Slovakia and abroad. The lookout is located at Köbölkút.
