The late Baroque Roman Catholic church, built between 1821-25, is protected as a historical monument. The 18th century Baroque furnishings are partly from the Pauline monastery in Csáktornya. (The church was originally intended for Leányvár, not here, but by chance the plans were switched, so Máriahalom got a bigger church.)
