The Pielföldszentszentkereszt and the Old Stone (Öreg-kõ) area, with its many values and secrets, is a special place in the Gerecse Nature Park. This place has a special atmosphere and a special aura. The Holy-Well Nature Trail from Péliföldszentkereszt leads to the Öreg-kõ (Old Stone) in Bajóti, the first nature reserve in Komárom-Esztergom County, which was declared a protected area in 1941. The Öreg-Kõ is not only famous as a habitat for rare plant and animal species, but also for the caves and the archaeological and prehistoric finds found in them. There are 10 stations along the 2.6 km trail along the National Blue Circle hiking trail.The trail guide booklet is also available for purchase at the Salesians’ Monastery.
