Towards the middle of the steeply sloping eastern side of the Pilis peak, about 250 metres above the valley floor, on the side of a stratified ridge, two triumphal arch-like rock gates, the Iron Gate, rise above each other and can be seen far away. Going up to the rocks behind the gate is an extraordinary sight.
